Kerrington Griffin

Kerrington Griffin is a performing artist based in Atlanta, Georgia She graduated from Spelman College with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance Performance & Choreography. From Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the home of spice and music, Griffin is no stranger to the Arts. She has been dancing since the age of three and like her mom, joined her home church’s youth ministry where she began acting and dancing.

 Her musical theatre interests first bloomed in middle school. Soon after, she became a frequent actor at theatres throughout the community. Along with the theatre, dance was never far behind. Griffin began her professional dance career with Of Moving Colors Dance Company as one of the company’s first apprentices to become a company member while in high school. She has also collaborated with Nyama Contemporary Dance Company’s Director, Roxi Victorian, as a founding member and Resident Artist for the Kennedy Center’s REACH facility in 2022.

She’s been a dancer for the WNBA’s Atlanta Dream’s Hypesquad for four seasons and led as Captain for three while immersed in choreography, performance, and education at Alliance Theatre. Kerrington is invested in moments that not only capture the audience but invites them to be a part of its story, both young and old. Griffin cares about work that represents and uplifts the dance pioneers that have paved the way for her.
